Meeting Carlie Ball: Who I am, What I Do.

As a new member of Elevate, I’d like to introduce myself. My name is Carlie Ball and I am very excited to be joining the team and contribute whatever I can to make this company soar! If you need a pic for the ‘gram, I got you. You need a blog post? No problem. Anything that is asked of me, I’m confident I can produce so that I can be equally informative and entertaining…. I’m basically your hype girl!

I recently just finished my first year at Memorial University (MUN) and I plan to study Communications this coming fall. I’ve always enjoyed writing and I’m proud of some of my past projects that have been published. A pen and paper has always been an outlet for me and a way I can let go. Along with writing, sports have always been a big part of who I am. Throughout my life, I have played soccer, basketball and cheerleading. However, my world has revolved around my love for volleyball for the past five to six years. When I’m not playing the sport, I’m typically officiating games which is probably my favourite job to date. On top of that job, I also work retail so I’m very comfortable around people and love speaking with them! I’m absolutely thrilled to combine my love for writing/photography and athletics into something great that can have a positive impact on others.

Self-improvement and positivity are very important to me and appreciate Elevate’s message behind that. I first heard of Elevate through social media where I learned how powerful and useful a platform like that can be to communicate with your audience. A friend of mine who was already a part of the team couldn’t give the brand enough praise so of course, I had to check them out. I’m so thankful I did. I instantly loved their vibe and their energy was addictive. Their sense of teamwork and friendship was something I knew I wanted to be a part of. It is important to always have a goal and realize that self-improvement is never ending. I like to live by the three P’s “Passion. Purpose. Progress”. I believe that Elevate supports those words and that those are words we should be thinking of while trying to reach any goal in life. No matter what we want our end result to be, the journey is just as important. For myself personally, I’m still not sure where my final destination will be but I’m definitely enjoying the ride.

Surrounding yourself with positive, supportive people will make the journey that much more enjoyable. I’m grateful to have these people in my life and excited to add Elevate to my journey. Elevate is a movement. Elevate yourself and those around you. Be the best person you can be and help others to be as well. In today’s world, there can never be too much light and positivity. So many ideas I want to share with you all and can’t wait to see where my adventure with this company will go.
